Do you think that long nails are disgusting?

im a girl and i have really long nails. i keep them clean, theres no dirt under them or anything and my friends friend was talking to us and she saw my nails and that ****** was like, ';thats disgusting, theres even dirt under them'; i said ';theres no dirt under them'; and she said ';yeaaaa'; so i just stopped talking not wanting to make a big deal. there really wasnt any dirt under them and i cut them because i thought that everyone thinks that its disgusting but isnt telling me. but i dont feel right and i dont feel like myself without my long nails.

No, I don't think moderately long nails are disgusting (within reason, obviously) as long as they're clean and don't interfere with you living your life. Sometimes when I see women with extremely long nails I wonder how they do anything without tripping over their own nails. But if yours are trim and clean that can look nice.

I don''t have long nails because for me they are very uncomfortable, but if u are taking care of them and Clean them like u are saying then just be yourself.


That girl said that not because she was bothered by your nails but because she has personal issues and maybe she just doen;t like u, which that it is also her problem too, not yours.

I personally wouldn't say disgusting, but they aren't attractive. Only if they were acrylic because they have that clean fresh look. Otherwise, try to keep them short.
they arent very hygienic


even if you keep them clean everyday, tons of bacteria will get under your nails easily
depends.. if they're fake or dirty they are tacky and horrible but if they're clean don't worry about people trying to put you down :)
