Really long fingernails aren't particularly hygenic and they wont stand out to your friends anymore if you keep them at a regular length.





If you like having nails and want to keep them longish, then do so- but within limits, turn your hand over so that your palm faces you and have a look at how far over the tip of your fingers they come- try to keep it within a 2mm-5mm length. You could give them a french polish- sometimes if nails are painted in a certain way, you can get away with having them that little bit longer as it's 'the look'.
